Firstly have a great eyelid primer available to even skin tone all over the eyelid from your lashes right to your eyebrows. Blend evenly with a synthetic brush then your finger and set with a nude eyeshadow similar to our Blossom Eye Shadow blending with a flat shader brush. At the root of your top lashes line with a dark grey, brown or black gel pencil. Then take a small contoured brush and use our Smokey Brown Eye Shadow from the outside corner of your eye over the gel liner and up just above your crease blending in a semi circle back and forth like a windshield wiper motion. Using a grey black eyeshadow like our Rockstar blend more dark shadow on the lid till you have the amount of darkness you are comfortable with. Blend a medium taupe shadow like slate brown onto your brow bone leaving room to lighten under your arch of your brow and inside corner of your eye with a highlight like Carmel (pale gold). Line eyes again with black liquid eyeliner shaping the liner to suit your eye. To keep eyes rounder do not extend too far beyond your eyebrow. Curl lashes and add some individual clusters of false eyelashes. Keep full in the center of your eyelashes and then touch up your eyebrow to keep sculpted but not heavy. Use mascara at the root of your bottom lashes to fill in between and have it look like eyeliner. You should have a similar look to the photo and still have a Smokey Look and Big Eyes!
When the outside temperature increases, we have to be creative to keep our makeup from disappearing and avoid repeat applications.
Here are 5 Tips to Keep your Makeup on Longer

Waterproof mascara is a must and if you find them too hard to remove then just use a coating over your favourite one.
5. Apply a Felt Tip Pen as your Eyeliner or Lipliner
During the Summer, applying a felt pen stain is simpler than a lipstick which heavier. Thanks to the felt tip stains you will obtain a long lasting colour without a goopy feel to your lips. The felt-pen shades are very beautiful for the summer and a sticky lip gloss should help to seal the colour. If you cannot find a felt tip pen in a colour you like then stain your lips with the side of a lip pencil for soft or bright colour.
Breaking (Bad!) News! : According to a recent study, women who live in cities, age faster than women who don’t.
Why ? The study showed conclusive evidence that urban skins are exposed to greater pollution, an aggressive factor for both the skin and lungs, increasing oxidative stress.
This causes skin to become dehydrated faster and can cause skin sensitivity and dullness.
Add to that, air conditioning, tobacco use, stress and sleep deprivation, and the end result is radiance and flexibility.
Pollution is not friendly to the skin. It is important to take care of it, by moisturizing it as much as possible. The goal is to calm the polluting effects and improve the skin’s natural defences. The more the skin is moisturized, the more toxins have a hard time penetrating the skin. Each morning, use a serum followed by a moisturizer that contains antioxidants, fatty acids and vitamin C.
For perfect protection against the elements, some brands offer a misting spray to apply during the day, even over makeup. It creates an impermeable barrier against toxins and protects soothes and hydrates your skin.
Once a week, it is important to use this emergency step for a healthy glow
Step 1 : Start with a gentle makeup remover, to remove all the impurities accumulated during the day or night out.

Step 3 : Follow up with a light steaming to liberate your pores. You can opt for a sauna or simply use a bowl of hot steaming water under a towel for that steaming effect.
Do this for 10 minutes, you can also add a couple of drops of tea tree essential oil, as this will increase the purifying effect. It is natural and soothing for the skin.
Step 4 : Use a clay based mask to help draw out any and all impurities.

Dry skin that’s rough, flaky and chafing can be uncomfortable and unsightly. What do you do about dry skin?
Sunlight and heat both contribute to your skin’s overall quality and dryness: tanning can lead to chapped skin that leads to ashiness. Drinking enough water is also important for keeping your skin cells healthy and hydrated. Dry skin can also be genetic \, or a result of your genes, like hair color or nose shape.
Having dry skin does not have to be a stress causing event, nor does it have to be costly to fix. In fact, you may be able to treat your dry skin at home.
While seeing a dermatologist can usually help persistent problems, it also means more time and over-medicating. Going to a doctor means medicated creams, pills, or other treatments. Using store-bought products is like choosing a cure out of an array of seemingly equal products. Either of these options can be a guessing game complete with repeated expenses or a long waiting period for doctor’s appointments.
Natural ingredients mean less guessing on what will work. Just as fruits and vegetables are what we consider to be healthy and fulfilling for our bodies in terms of sustenance, these things and more can be beneficial to other areas of our body, like the skin. Using a homemade remedy can often cure minor aches and pains, and it’s a delightful surprise when something so simple solves these problems without a doctor’s note.
Making your own skin treatments is great if you’re suffering more occasional dry skin or during cold weather seasons. Habitual dry skin can be rooted in a more persistent problem like ecsema or psoriasis that are extreme cases.
Using whole foods can be a great restorative choice as well as healthy for your diet. Natural items still contain many of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients contained in skincare products without the excess chemicals or processing.
Natural sources of ingredients sourced from sustainable or GMO-free locations is a great way to start when it comes to homemade recipes. Choosing organic as well limits your skin’s exposure to any harmful pesticides or GMOs used in treating farm plants to bring a load to the table. Make your own skin treatments out of combination of a variety of items that help with dry skin and its effects:
Mash up your ingredients to form a paste, and add a small amount of water so that the ingredients blend together. Bathe or wash beforehand and be sure your face clean and dry before applying the mixture. Once applied, let the masque sit until dry before removing. For a deep moisturizing effect, leave on all night.

Perks of using these sources is that your skin gets treated to a host of vitamins and minerals that are also of noticeable benefit as well. For example, contributing citrus fruit into your recipe gives you greater sources of vitamin C, which promote skin brightening and elasticity.
Take a little time to take care of your skin with natural remedies. Say goodbye to dry skin with treatments right out of your kitchen.
