Selena is trending as your Screen Saver, Music Maven, Teen Queen all with her Southern Smile! If you are fair skin and dark hair perhaps you can achieve her look … luxurious curls and wave to the hair and darkly lined eyes with pink lipstick! It all comes together with a Matte Pink eye shadow (Blushed) Slate Brown in the crease of the eye extended outwards, use Matte Black eye shadow used wet to line the eyes very close to the lash line and a kohl pencil inside the rim of the eyes top and bottom. Shape the eyebrows to accentuate the arch and feather with a mascara spool to soften. Curl those lashes and build the mascara till the lashes are full and extend up and to the outside of the eye, slide the mascara sideways to grab the lash and add fullness. Line the lips with a soft pink and fill in with Pretty lipstick and/or Charmer or Tutti Fruitti from Pandora’s Lips and add Awesome Lip Gloss or Delicious for sheer pink lip gloss over the lipstick. Contour those cheekbones and add some blush using Pout if you like Peach and Dolly if you love Pink! Now you have the Selena Gomez “LOOK” .

HOW TO GET THE LOOK

Use Touch of Bronze Bronzer dusted all over a dewy foundation … blending Pout or Passionfruit blush to the side front of cheek. Use a pearlized white like Sheer Pearl as a base shadow and blend the NEW Tiramisu shadow over eyeliner, smudged at the corners and blended into the crease with black or brown kohl liner. Lots of lashes on the corners and nude the lip with NEW Creamy Coral Lipstick with Soft or Mimosa Lip Gloss over. All colours listed above are found in the Shop Pandora section of the website.

It's a PURPLE Spring

Start with PINK MIST all over the Eyelid, then add MOONLIGHT MAUVE on the bottom lid from crease to lashes and then use our NEW AMETHYST Eye Shadow to create the angled triangle at the outer edge of the eye. LIps, stain with TUTTI FRUITTI and add MIMOSA Lip Gloss over. Dust FAIRY Blush under the top of the cheekbone but smile!

TIRAMISU is perfect for day or night Spring/Summer NEUTRAL

Dust the eyelid with SHIMMER white and then use NEW TIRAMISU Eye Shadow all over the eyelid and outwards for a sexy earthy cat eye. Lips, stain with BUTTERSCOTCH Lipstick and use SOFT Lip Gloss for the perfect peach. Cheeks must have is PETAL to give a true coral cheekbone.

I would like to share a wonderful shopping experience I had this evening. With the influence of a very creative friend I decided to search for the Creed brand of fragrance. With the help of the Creed website http://www.creedboutique.com and a wonderfully experienced fragrance expert Nabi, located at the Holt Renfrew in Toronto at Yorkdale I was educated about a brand that has been a father and son establishment since 1760. Nabi studied the Creed line for three months and then was tested by having to recognize 6 of the many scents that are available with eyes closed! So how would I choose? Close my eyes and awaken my senses, take it all in, and decide does the personality of the smell match who I am … it took concentration and reaffirmation with Nabi to finally choose Aqua Fiorentina as my purchase and for the future I will request a gift for special celebration of the Virgin Island Water. PANDORA’S MAKEUP WAS IN SYDNEY

March was an exciting month for Pandora’s Makeup Box … Susan Kirsch the owner was asked to apply makeup for a client for her wedding day! It is the beginning of Fall for those living in Sydney Australia, the stores are filling up with boots, new clothes in grey, black, white, navy, and taupe. There is a BUT … it is only 24 degrees and humid, the wedding party are wearing black wrap dresses and the bride a stunning Blue/ Green! She is almost 6ft tall and gorgeous on her wedding day. The photos below are just little snapshots nothing professional those will come later! Since North America is going into Spring season I thought it would be appropriate to give some hot weather hints of how to get your makeup to stay on.

THE BRIDE!

ONLY THREE OF THE BRIDESMAIDS

STEPS FOR HOT WEATHER MAKEUP:

Use a water based moisturizer, allow to absorb into the skin

Then use a mattifying product on the T-Zone.

Touch up skin with wax based camouflage product, use the smallest amount of waterbased liquid foundation and then a mineral powder foundation for great coverage!

Eyelid primer, just a small amount on the lower lid and brow bone not in the crease

Powder shadow, layered to absorb the heat of the day

Eye shadow wet as eyeliner and then water based Liquid Eyeliner to keep it lasting and and repel the heat.

Waterproof Mascara

Lipliner and lipstick sealed with a Lip Sealer (Example Lipcote, UK)

Touch of bronzer to look like an Aussie and Smile to add Blush to the front of the Cheek, keep a collection of products with a mirror for touch ups because between the outdoor windy photos and the heat a touch up will be necessary not to mention all the kissing the Bride and Groom did during the photos! Congratulations to the Happy Bride and Groom.
